Letter from John to BikersDatabase.com It is common knowledge that many motels are hostile toward bikers and discourage biker business and some even refuse them a room. I am a motel owner (137 rooms) and a biker. Several years ago I actively sought out biker business and now enjoy frequent group activities (I have three large meeting rooms). We encourage bikers to park under either of our two canopies as added security. My motel is the Magnuson Hotel, Sweetwater, Tennessee, located half way between Knoxville and Chattanooga on I-75. It has everything from indoor pool to 'FREE DINNER AND BREAKFAST' and the best part is, we have a special biker rate of $58.00 -- single or double!!!.
